There are many ways during your lifetime, or later as a bequest in your will, by which you can support historic preservation in Alabama. Charitable gifts to the Alabama Trust for Historic Preservation (Tax ID # 63-0947714) are only used to support historic preservation work and services in Alabama. Consult with your legal and financial advisors to become familiar with the tax benefits specific to your gift and/or help formulate your estate plan to include the Alabama Trust for Historic Preservation.

GIFTS OF BENEFICIARY RIGHTS
You can support historic preservation in Alabama by naming the Alabama Trust for Historic Preservation as a beneficiary of your life insurance policy, IRA or other qualified retirement benefits. To make a gift of beneficiary rights, request a change-of-beneficiary form from your insurance or retirement plan administrator. Then simply return the completed form to your plan administrator. GIFTS OF SECURITIES
Gifts of securities to the Alabama Trust for Historic Preservation can be gifts of bonds, mutual funds, stock, etc. Gifts of securities can be given during your lifetime or bequeathed to the Alabama Trust for Historic Preservation (Tax ID # 63-0947714).
